Upgrade motor for torment 1/18 scale

there are quite a few options depends on what you want your truck to do for off road/lots of turning you would want more torque over more speed in which case you would want a lower kv range on the other hand if you wanted it to be a fast straight driving vehicle (like drag racing) you would want a higher kv range if your truck came brushless you can base it off the stock motor if not try to find the top voltage and top rpm of the motor then divide top rpm by top voltage
(for example a reedy radon top rpm is 30000 and max voltage is 8.4 volts so 30000/8.4=3571 accounting for the fact that the motor wont be 100% efficient that would put it around a 3300-3400kv (roughly) to equal the same speed as the brushed reedy radon but the brushless will theoretically produce more torque meaning you can gear up to increase speed especially if you get a higher amp esc for instance say your esc being replaced was a 40a max output but the new one is 60a then the motor has an extra 33% power to create torque meaning you can safley run it with more load than before)
