Graduated from amp to ruckus

No. I run a 2s on a completely stock boost and for a while a completely stock torment. 3s broke everything. I also run a 2s on a completely stock brushless ruckus. When I first ran the ruckus (out of the box, put battery in and go) I stripped the wheels within 15 minutes.

2s you are fine. 3s expect to break everything

Either 2s or 3s can run the stock motor a tad hot depending on how/ where you drive it. I drive on 2s with no issues, but it's not uncommon for me to get the heat up to the point I need to shut it down and let it cool.

Watch the heat on the stock motor. I fried mine in a week. I keep ripping the shoulder screws out of the steering knuckles (twice now). Lots of rocks where I live and I run into them occasionally. Going aluminum next time.

What brushless setup did you go with?

You can add a servo saver eliminator, it's supposed to have more responsive steering.

Aluminum steering knuckles are next for me.

Kineksis 4000. I went with it because eventually everything from the ruckus will me in the amp.
