Do you have a picture of the outdrive cup? As I do not recall the Ecx 2wd platform having any. Did you break the driveshaft? Slash 4x4, the 2wd are actually weaker than the stock Ecx ones.

I'm pretty sure that you need wheels for the Team Associated Rc10b4.1. Ecx cars are essentially clones of the Team Associated RC10 platform. They aren't direct clones as most parts aren't interchangeable.

So apparently HH let the trademark for Ecx expire. Hobby stores are telling people that the brand has been discontinued so I think this is the end.

Looking at those middle screw holes, can you slot the holes a little farther back on the top plate then use some sort of spacer under there?

What car? Are you getting chassis slap just driving around or while jumping? You want chassis slap while jumping or you will blow the caps or pull the rod ends off or bend your shock shafts.

Lc Racing diffs do not fit I tried. I can check the wltoys 144001 diffs if you want.

Run the truck through a few packs they should loosen up. If not try some graphite lube like this...

$10 says the motor can is hitting the tranny housing on the inside causing the motor to sit at an angle and bending the tranny case.
