For reference I'll post it here. The Traxxas "big bore" shock caps have been widely reported to fit the ECX shocks (and others).
Look for Traxxas #2667 (boring gray) or #3767 series which come in a variety of fashionable anodized colors (for about three times the price of the 2667).
However, note that the cap eyelet bore on the Traxxas caps is not the same design as the ECX caps with their captured ball pivot. The traxxas caps utilize a non-ball type design (straight sided bushing). You might be able to use one of the Associated shock cap bushings or maybe another brand (or even a piece of fuel tubing).
DISCLAIMER: Unfortunately I can't offer any guidance in this respect since I've not actually used traxxas caps with ECX shock bodies.
