Hello all, has anyone installed the Hot Racing servo saver on any of their AMP MTs? Did you have any issues? Just tried to install one on my MT and broke a ball stud that is for the steering arm. Upon closer inspection i noticed that the threads in it are fine thread and the stock ball studs are not. Now i need to get a new servo saver assembly and new ball studs

Hot Racing threads them to 4-40 for some inexplicable reason. I drilled them out, and since I'm using turnbuckle style rods I no longer use the ball studs. Later in my thread you can see how I extensively modified the bellcrank, elminating that giant silver offset piece after I bent two of them. Their aluminum is terrible for this application. I did try the RPM plastic one at one point.

Ahh i see no wonder the ball stud broke, i may just drill out the holes and try rethreading them to proper size or go with a turn buckle style as you stated you did. Thanks for your help! I finally got all my parts in aside from soldering an ic5 connector to my esc and this servo saver ruined my plans of getting it running finally lol
