I’m looking to upgrade the shocks on my 1/10 scale 2wd brushless Ruckus. Just looking for opinions on the best ones available. This truck is a basher & takes it’s fair share of abuse.

What weight shock oil would work best?Traxxas GTR shocks for the Slash 4x4 with VG Racing springs for the Slash 4x4.
30-40 I would say. What weight shock oil would work best?
You want chassis slap, or else you will blow out the shocks, but not too much.Just tested some rc4wd 35 in the front. Need heavier for the back I don’t like it chassis slapping every landing
This is what I meant I just need it not to slap on small bumps the way it does. Like coming off a 3 ,4 inch drop it should just float I added some thick oil it stopped still slaps off big stuff but isn’t bad on the littleYou want chassis slap, or else you will blow out the shocks, but not too much.
Man ……. so today I added the final suspension set up I tried a few rear shocks to no success them thought f£#k it and order the fastrax huncho\dingo piggy back shocks. For crawlers but ya know. They looked good and I have the normal 95mm fastrax on the front and they work just great so hoped for the best. The best it was. They’re firm on the standard springs, with the front I added soft spring and that changed the handling straight away. I’ve got 37.5 tlr oil in there and bled them till there was no air left, toke a while and shocks are one of my least favourite things to do. Finally added all the camber links minus the steering links I wanna leave a weak spot for tumbles. Some pics are attached and I highly recommend these shocks. Budget friendly and work really well. Thanks for readingYou want chassis slap, or else you will blow out the shocks, but not too much.
