Thank you very much. I will look at the traxxas drive shafts and also look at the knock offs.Well the "go to" is to find a set of Hot racing axles for the Torment. But for whatever reason they no longer make them. But if you can find a set somewhere....... Ebayz or the like, I would jump on them, if you can.
A couple of my Torments are still running the stock axles, one Torment is running, or had a set of Hot Racing axles already installed when I purchased it used. I also have a set of Hot Racing axles in my Amp DB.
I did purchase a couple of sets of a made in China knockoffs, and have a set in a Torment. I dont run it much and I am expecting them to fail at some point, but they are still in the car though.
Some say a set of axles for a 2wd Slash works? with some modifications.
Below is a link I bought the knockoffs from, I am not sure I should be calling them knockoffs, that may be a bit harsh.

The rpm rear hubs allow for a larger bearing. I haven’t tried the Traxxas drive shafts with the bigger bearing but it would be nice if there wasn’t a clearance issue. You can switch any of the ECX 1/10 2wd to Slash 4x4 rear axles, or any aftermarket equivalent they have (that telescopes, not fixed length). They are a bit bigger at the hub/bearing so you will need to make that work, either by clearancing the ECX stuff or just swapping the Slash stuff. Personally, I think a larger diameter bearing is an upgrade in itself.
I have MIP X-duty in the race Ruckus and they are damn near bulletproof even with a locker and a direct drive transmission (pinion drives spur, no slipper).
