I was strolling through my LHS and he had a lone Boost on the shelf marked down to $100. So I got it on a whim thinking it was the same as the Amp DB. Well, it's close. Then I had it in the yard playing with my kids and their Amp MTs it acted like it was overheat protecting itself. So I parked it for the night and put on some spare Amp MT wheels/tires. This afternoon I installed an RPM servo saver delete bellcrank, a cheap no name black can 21t motor, and a Traxxas XL5 ESC for now. While the nose was open I added three 1/2oz tire weights under the bellcrank(1.5oz total). It's like a new car altogether now. Next is a HobbyWing 1060 with drag brake for mine and the 2 Amp MTs. I'm leaving it wingless for the time being.
