Hi all I am having a rough start on my temper 2. It arrived with both upper link mounts broken from the front and rear axles. I super glued and epoxied the mounts back on. Today i took it out for a maiden voyage just planning on driving it on flat ground to break in the motor brushes. Long story short the fix in the rear did not hold and with the loss of the upper links the rear drive shaft snapped when the axle rotated.
I am looking for metal drive shafts I have read on here that quite a few will fit mostly need to grind the case down on the output to clear the shaft a little not that big a deal.
What I do want to know is. Are there metal axle housings that I can upgrade to where the link and shock mounts are all metal? I foresee the plastic being a constant issue.
