Amp MT Problems

After playing with the monster truck it stopped going in reverse and when it turns on it moves. Could something be shorted out? Still goes forward and steers, sometimes the reverse trigger stops or just keeps going forward.

I had the same problem but it depends on the speed I would get a new esc and see what that does if that does not work I would buy a new transmitter and receiver at your local hobby shop depending where you are

That sounds like possibly you changed the throttle trim. Go to page 71 of the manual (at least on the one I downloaded recently) and see if that helps.

Yup, throttle trim can be very touchy! Very little movement can affect forward/reverse of vehicle.
