The link on the ECX site is a dead end and Horizon Hobbies website says it's discontinued. I was thinking of getting one for my nephew for his birthday. Has the AMP desert buggy replaced it?

@MonkeyFist I haven't heard anything yet about the ECX Boost being discontinued, maybe @Toby Lewis can weigh in.

It appears that the ECX Boost may very well be done! There's nothing showing on the ECX product page on Horizon Hobby's site. And a search for the Boost only turns up parts.
However, even if the Boost is discontinued, there's probably plenty "in the system" or at local hobby shops. Go ahead and buy one because a majority of the parts are interchangeable with the ECX Circuit 2WD, and both AMP vehicles. (Replace the Boost suspension arms and drive shafts with Circuit/AMP arms and drive shaft and - BOOM! - you've got a Circuit truck or AMP MT/DB.)

After looking at both the Boost and AMP DB, I dig the look of the DB more anyway. This will be his first hobby grade RC so I think the DB will make a great choice.
