Brushless recomindations

I recently burned up the brushed motor in my 4wd ruckus. Im looking to upgrade to a brushless motor/esc. I have no idea what to look for in a motor. What would be a good combo for a backyard basher? Is there a link someone could post that would explain brushless motors? That would be great. thanks.
