ECX Ruckus 1/18 Steering issue

Hi,

My son's Ruckus steering servo appears to have seen better days so I got a replacement. However when I installed the new servo I ended up with no steering or throttle. The steering servo did appear to do a check (moved left and right for a couple of seconds) but nothing after that once the radio had binded.

So my question is what have I done wrong or is the actual problem the ESC that showed up in the steering?

Hey lurker, all I can think is to test the esc with a multimeter. I know @slick2500 has had one of them. Maybe he could be help than me.

Torment, Ruckus and Roost are basically the same besides bodies, tires and bumpers.

My only guess is that the servo is plugged in backwards.
