How to get the car to reverse ECX Torment 1/10

Help?The other day I had to recalibrate my controller for my car and followed the manual on how to do it,then I turned it and could go forward and reverse,I checked the controller and the chip on the car to make sure (rev) was set to on,anyone know what to do?

Is this a stock radio and ESC?
I assume when you say "recalibrate" you mean re-bind?
So does it move at all?
Does the steering working?

Yes the steering works and it can go forward.I do not have reverse and it is a stock controller

what happens when you take the connecting chip out of the computer for Rev?
