I have 2 1/10 brushless ecx 2wd trucks and 2 1/10 brushed ecx 2wd trucks. I got them off eBay and I need help finding compatible parts and upgrades for them because the gear on the motor keeps popping off and the transmission needs a cover but would like to update it if I can

I've been buying over 30 torment, ruckus, Circuit, AMP DB / MT and Boost. Rebuilding them to be better and more reliable than Traxxas trucks.

All of the ECX 1/10 2wd lineup parts are interchangeable except for some very small things between the buggies and larger chassis. All the aftermarket stuff will except for one or two things like the front bulkhead. Amazon and AliExpress will be the easiest places to find

For your pinion, try some loctite orange (removable) on the Allen key lock screw. If that doesn’t work just replace the motor and pinion with new for what they cost these days.

Your trans cover is ECX1027. New parts are no longer made, eBay it

Fwiw I run my Ruckus without the gear cover all the time.

Same here. It won’t clear most aftermarket setups. I am also insanely OCD about cleaning off after every run, shop air makes it fairly easy

I actually lost it and never felt like buying a new one.
