M3 Shock Ends on M2 Screw Axle Mounts??

Hello Good People

I have some new shocks and wanted to know how to fit the new M3 shock ball ends on these smaller ECX M2 screws where the bottom of shock and lower links mount on the axle?? Can’t seem to find a M3 to M2 adapter:/ Endlessly grateful!!!

what about a shoulder screw? Drill and tap the mount out to m3?
