What I've done to my amp...

-Metal tranny gears
-hot racing metal driveshafts
-spektrum 310 radio system dx2e
-castle sct esc/3800kv motor
-rpm arms
-rpm rear hubs with oversized bearings
-rpm castor blocks
-rpm steering spindle with o/s bearings
-rpm servo saver eliminater
-spektrum 6070 steering servo
-aluminum servo horn
-hot racing steel spur gear

Currently geared at 25/81 with no heat issues or thermal shutdown.. wheelies all day.. tops out around 35-40ish mph.

Next to come, allready on the way !
-softer suspension springs
-new clear body
-aluminum ecx castor blocks/steering spindles.. rpms are good.. but I keep losing shoulder screws..

Looks like a comprehensively modded thing. But softer springs? Mine slaps its belly constantly so I'm looking at heavier oil and firmer springs.

Also I wouldn't have switched the spur gear to steel gear. You already put metal gears in the tranny, you need to have a "weak point" somewhere and the spur gear is the best one. Cheap and easy to replace. Especially with you running a BL setup.

Edit: I see you changed your gearing, so maybe you had no choice. But if a plastic spur was an option in that size, that would definitely be a better choice

I'm aware of the steel spur gear being a risk.. but I couldn't find a compatible spur gear in that size..been running it like that for over a month now and no issues ''finger crossed"... I also run the slipper moderatly loose.. even though the thing still wheelies like no tomorrow.. damn castle 3800 lol... perhaps I've taken this truck to far .. also with the soft springs I'm really only interested in trying them out in the front.. I find my front end shocks are a bit stiff and my steering doesn't grab very much..

I'm switching to a steel spur as well. I'm running 3.8" Shockwaves (6" tire) on my 2WD Ruckus and finally blew the plastic spur. I'll be gearing down from a 87t to a 85t so yeah. 3000Kv motor and stock pinion.

We shall see...

do you have a list of links where i can buy all those parts i want to upgrade my ecx amp

A website called ''hobby etc''.. aND ''amain hobbies'' is where I purchased all my stuff.. if you need more info let me know

I buy a LOT of stuff from Hobby Etc. They are an East Coast retailer and have really fast and cheap shipping. I've been 100% happy with them so far. They are also a huge Hot-Racing retailer. They also carry a lot of ECX parts.
